Our automatic dished end flanging machine are constructed with the distinctive C-shaped heavy-duty electro-welded structure, ensuring precision machining performed in-house by CJ. The structures of the flanging machines, like all other machines manufactured by CJ, are built using high-quality steel plates. These plates are certified and undergo ultrasonic testing to ensure the utmost reliability of the machines. Following the welding process, the structures undergo stress relief through heat treatment

Following the dishing process, the subsequent operation involves edge flanging, wherein the dished end is securely welded to the tank body to provide structural support for internal pressure. During the flanging operation, the plate's edge undergoes shaping through precision-controlled flanging rolls, with these rolls adjusting relative to the radius of the forming roll. Both rolls collaboratively rotate and manipulate the material to achieve the desired curvature. It's important to note that this operation may potentially result in plate layering. To ensure optimal results and minimize material thinning, it is imperative to employ high-quality machinery capable of achieving the flanging with a minimal number of passes.

An effective flanging machine should also feature a control mechanism that consistently ensures the optimal alignment of the rolling rollers with the sheet metal. This capability encompasses the capacity for tilting the flanging and shaping rollers as needed.
