Insulating Glass Machine

TPS is the abbreviation of THERMO PLASTIC SPACER, which can be translated into thermoplastic spacer. TPS is a new type of insulating glass warm edge system, which is a thermoplastic spacer filled with molecular sieves with special butyl adhesive as auxiliary material. It can perfectly replace the traditional hollow aluminum strip, as shown in the figure.

Application

The TPSS system is different from the traditional manufacturing system. It does not require the step-by-step operations of bending, sawing, connecting, filling molecular sieves and coating butyl rubber of the separate spacer bars. The TPSS machine extracts the thermoplastic spacer bar from a 200-liter sealed glue bucket, shapes it, and directly applies it to the glass pane. This spacer bar is composed of a single-component butyl polymer containing a molecular sieve. Due to its structure without metal components, it’s a unique, tight, uniform, and complete sealing spacer, which the best sealing quality and efficient waterproof function.

Both the conveying speed and the gluing speed are adjustable. This equipment has the advantages of small floor space, high efficiency, reliable performance, and convenient maintenance.

Technical Introduction

A.   This machine adopts the German Beckhoff control system, Yaskawa servo motors, and drive system, featuring stable operation and high positioning accuracy. It is equipped with a large true-color touch screen, which has a user-friendly interface and is easy to operate.
B.   The whole machine has two operation modes: automatic and manual. Each section can be manually operated separately, making it more convenient and simple to use.

C.   The TPSS insulating glass system includes a washing machine, 、inspection section、TPSS gluing machine、and filling and pressing machine.
Glass Washing Machine: It is equipped with brushes with soft bristles, which can clean the Low-e glass. The water circuit is equipped with a heater and a filter to ensure that the glass is clean and free of scratches. The air circuit uses circulating air and is equipped with a heater to ensure that the glass is dry.
The inspection section uses lights with adjustable brightness, which can avoid dazzling strong light and ensure the inspection quality.
TPSS glue nozzle: It can achieve high-speed and precise positioning to ensure speed, accuracy, and quality, and realize the maximum output. The gluing head allows a 360-degree rotation angle and can apply glue along irregular trajectories.
Insulating glass pressing quality: It ensures excellent adhesive force of the sealant and presses it to the thickness of the entire unit with strict tolerances. Filling gas with an initial percentage of 90% can be selected.
D.   The insulating glass with various spacer bar widths from 6mm to 20mm can be adjusted steplessly.
E.   The function of processing glass sheets of different sizes is optional.
F.   The function of processing triple-glazed glass is optional.
