What is machine stretch film？
0 min read
Machine stretch film rolls can range from twenty inches wide up to eighty inches for wide machine stretch film rolls. Aside from the width of the roll being wider than a standard eighteen-inch hand stretch film, they are also longer.Traditional machine rolls are 5,000 ft., with some rolls having up to 9,000 ft. of film.
Another benefit of machine stretch film rolls over hand rolls is the stretch rate. Machine stretch film rolls can have over a 250% stretch rate. With maximum stretch wrap machine tension, a 5,000 ft roll can stretch to over 17,000 feet, reducing waste and cost.
