The main types of cling film

Most of the cling film materials on the market are PVDC, PE and PVC.

1. PVDC cling film has a high barrier performance and is suitable for packaging cooked food and meat products. It has the highest heat resistance temperature and can be used for microwave heating, but the price is high.

2. PVC cling film has good transparency, certain viscosity and low price. If it is in contact with greasy food, heated at high temperature or heated by microwave oven, plasticizer may migrate out.

3. PE film is moderately permeable and suitable for food preservation, and its safety is higher than that of PVC.
