Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCL) is a bentonite layer sandwiched between a nonwoven geotextile as a cover layer and a woven geotextile as a carrier and reinforcement bottom layer, both connected through the process of needle punching thus can form many small fibrous spaces so that the bentonite particles can not flow in one direction. When the water in the pad to form a uniform high-density gel-like waterproof layer, can prevent water leakage effectively.
