The newly released 4-section boom arm may reduce some dead corners that you might experienced with a 3-section one. Both arms fit most key lights/hair lights and will allow a soft box to be attached. A wall mount arm is recommended if your ceiling is not strong or your ceiling height is 12ft or higher. Summary: (1) Simplify your light movements (2) Add creative flexibility to your light (3) 360 degree rotations in any positions, in either directions. (4) Heavy loads (for up to 16 pounds or 8 kgs) to accommodate your light plus need accessories (such as a large soft box)
