The elements of Ferrite magnet are ferric oxide、barium、strontium. Ferrite has higher coercive force and higher resistance to be demagnetized and oxidized than other non-rare earth permanent magnets. The biggest advantage of such magnet is their low cost. It is widely used from motors and loudspeakers to toys and craft etc. Ferrite magnets have good resistance to demagnetization, excellent corrosion resistance, and especially popular advantage of low cost. However, They are very hard, brittle and limited to simple size. The mould charge is vey expensive too. This class of magnets have lower energy characteristics compared to other magnetic materials.
