Kirigami is one of the most popular Chinese folk arts, it can be trace back to 6th A.D. Kirigami is used to religious ritual, ornament and plastic arts. Its origin should be closely connected with the invention of paper during the Han dynasty (206 B.C.-221 A.D.). It is used for religious purposes, for decoration and as patterns.
