1) Reuse is not allowed, which will possibly cause cross infection, fatigue fracture and re-fracture, loss of effectiveness. Sterilized packing products should be used in period of validity. Non-sterilized products and instruments should be sterilized first. Instruments should be used when implanting or moving products.
2) The material of components should be identical, mixed material is not allowed. Using of implants is strictly controlled according to clinical requirements, patient’s condition and products property.
3) For stability of fixation, measure the X-ray film of fracture before surgery, to determine the type and size.
4) Using fluoroscopic devices for reduction and accuracy.
5) Avoid injury to implants in the procedure of transportation, storage and installation, which will lower the hardness and cause the fixation failure. Broken packing should returned.
6) Implants can not replace the load-bearing function of bone. Inappropriate impact of loading will cause bending or disrupt of products, and eventually cause healing failure.
7) Patients should be informed that exercise after operation will reduce the life span of any internal fixation. Doctors should regulate the activity intensity, to avoid fixation failure, re-fracture and disrupt of screws. Periodic review is advised to examine the healing condition and to avoid reverse effects.
8) Implants are moved out after healing of fracture(normally 7 to 12 months after fracture).
Locking screws are implanted by twisting. Over-powered twisting will destroy the hole, causing loosening and failure of fixation.
10) Risks of period of special examine and treatment: Stainless steel has a certain interference to CT and MRI. Such examine is forbiddened. X-ray is more recommended. Titanium alloy has no such influence to CT, MRI or X-ray.
11) The purpose is to promote the healing of fracture, not to bear the whole part of shear force.
12) During operation, surgeons should stick the “Certificate of Conformity” to medical record, and reserve the rest bar code label and certificates. Using situation should be recorded in detail. The distribution company should build up sales record, for search and review.

Elderly patients with osteoporosis; fracture site lacks sufficient bone integrity; systemic or local infection; metabolic disorders of calcium, systemic neurological diseases, immune system disorder, allergy to the implant material and patients restricted from activities or as directed by a physician
