As the most advanced and sensitive explosive detector in current market, the SRED-I explosive detector was selected to be an outstanding achievement in the development of new material field in 2010 by ministry of science and technology of China. It was also pubulished on Chinese science and technology development report on 2010. The detector is possible to detect 38 kinds of common explosives including nitro explosives such as TNT, DNT, plasticized, emulsion and PW0 explosives. The superiority that makes it different from other similar products is that it can identify local made explosive according to its characteristics such as asian characteristics explosives.
This product has high sensitivity and wide detection range with ppq (10-15 g/mL), which reaches international advanced level;
It has a very light weight of 0.82kg including battery, which can be easily held by one hand;
The continuous operating ability is 8 hours after one time full charging;
The strong adaptability make sure its normal working under ultra-low temperature of -40℃ and extremely wet environment with humidity of 98%.

?? Based on user& acute;s actual demand, we consider to integrate the human-computer interaction concept and high sensitivity detection technology in order to simplify the operation procedure while still keep a high detection level during designing of SRED.

?? 1. Easy operation

?? The operation of SRED is very simple. It only takes you 3 to 5 hours& acute; training from the start into actual pratice. In addition, the know down design makes it much easier to replace the sensing element or battery without using any special tools.

?
?? The usability is the key factor that we need to take into consideration during the product design. We combine the dedicated mono-molecular fluorescent film with the special weak optical signal detection circuit by adding the light three-proofing moulded plastic housing, thus the weight is controlled to be only 820g.

?

When the exploder is loaded and transported, the vehicle body will be inevitably polluted by the explosives, thus a large number of explosive molecules will be attached to it. In such case, SRED can easily sample or detect those explosive molecules even the detection head does not touch them.

SRED can detect gas emitted from the improvised exploder and the small size can guarantee that it can be assembled onto the automatic platform which can be operated remotely. And the detection of the bomb producer can guarantee that we can find the improvised exploder at the beginning.

The high sensitivity of SRED and internal memory provide strong support for its application in terms of forensic pathology. The evidence obtaining personnel can carry out the sampling detection for the vehicle of the suspect or suspicious bomb production device even the suspects themselves and these results can be stored and printed to provide evidence for the investigation of the prosecutor.
