Absorbs up to 300% of its own weight depending on mix and packaging. Tests prove that 100 grams of silica gel are required to absorb moisture only 10 grams high efficient desiccant absorption rate is 8-15 times than that of common desiccants.

Strong moisture absorption, no leakage. Our high efficient desiccant with the active ingredients which can turn into gel when the calcium chloride holding a chemical reaction with moisture. Plus the two-layer packing made of non-woven fabric and breathable film, which can totally hold the moisture inside the package. And no evaporation after completely moisture absorption.

The moisture inside the general desiccant can go through the desiccant package into the air when encountering with the high temperature after moisture adsorption. While Powder desiccant can mix the moisture with the calcium chloride and turn into gel, in this case, the moisture is not easy to Evaporate.

Remark:

For mats of coir and cotton, add 1 kg per container; for furniture for each 1% of moisture content over 18%, add 1 kg per container.

#
For high risk material, such as Rattan, Water Hyacinth, Palm Leaf, Sea grass, corium, PU and PVC items, add 2 kgs per container.

#
For floors in excess 20% moisture content add 1 kg for each 1.5%.

#
If pallets are used in container and over 18% moisture content, add 1 kg for each 1.5%.

For rainy season or humid area add 1 or 2 kgs per container if necessary.

If there is no space to hang the desiccants between the wall and cargos, please put them on the cargos. However, hanging the desiccants stick will make desiccants absorb more moisture in a wider range.

Proper space should be prepared for desiccants stick, as it will be enlarged after absorbing water. Also please don’t put things on the desiccants stick to protect desiccants from damage

Q: Why should we put the desiccant in container before shipping?

A: During the container shipment, there is a great difference in temperature and humidity. The humidity can be moved to approximately 98%.When the temperature inside the container is lowered, the air will reach the dew point, and the water will condense. This is when fungus, mold and mildew occurs, damaging the goods. Worse yet, if the water condenses on the surface of metal products corrosion occurs.
